Banquet is this Sunday starting at noon! See you there!

We have received some questions about what the tryout process looks like.  Be ready to work on technique, such as motions and jumps.  We also usually learn a few cheers and a dance from the tryout instructor.  It is good to have a few chants prepared because your own chants are often preformed for the judges.  Be ready to work cooperatively because we often create and 8 count dance routine or a chant with others who are trying out. 

Also, don’t worry about how long the tryout process takes.  We break for lunch, which we usually go out to eat together to Jimmy Johns or someplace like that.  Cuts happen as needed but sometimes not at all during the day.  The most exciting part is that immediately after tryouts you are fitted for your uniform with Liz, our amazing Varsity Rep.  This is why the day takes so long, so don’t worry. It is more fun than it is work!
